Happy Saturday, dear friends. I created this card using the Spellbinders Large Dies from May. Unfortunately, due to COVID, they are facing delays in shipping and fulfillment times. I received my items from the May Club at the end of May.
Here, I have used the flower die from the die set Stitched Card Front, Border and Flower.
It’s a pretty straightforward card. I have used a white card panel and blended Fossilized Amber and Antique Linen on it. Next, I’ve used a stencil I created with my Cricut and applied some Nuvo Glimmer Paste in Moonstone randomly, trying to keep the design balanced. I mounted this panel on a slightly bigger yellow panel. That’s all there is to the base!
For the flowers, I die cut three flowers using the flower from the Stitched Card Front, Border and Flower set. (Unfortunately, this set sold out fairly quickly so I cant share a link to it. I could always share the Large Die of the Month Club link but that would take you to the current Large Die of the Month.) Anyway, back to this card. I stitched in the flowers the old fashioned way, with a thread and needle and yellow embroidery thread for 2 flowers and orange thread for the third. Once, all three were stitched, I used foam squares to adhere them to the textured panel. I punched 3 circles out of gold glitter paper and glued them to the center of the flowers.
For the sentiment, I used a sentiment from Hero Arts Hello Stamp and Die set, stamped it using Fossilized Amber and heat set it using clear embossing powder. Again, I used foam squares to adhere it to the front.
Lo and behold! A card unlike my usual cards is born!
