This post is about Halal nail polish brands out there that deliver what they promise.
What is Halal nail polish?
Nail polish usually blocks water from reaching the nail. However, Halal Nail Polish is oxygen and water-permeable, meaning oxygen and water can pass through the layer and cross to the nail plate during ablution (Wudu).
I have put together a list of 10 halal nail polish brands that not only offer breathable nail polish options, but most of these brands strive to only use safe ingredients and avoid harmful ones like formaldehyde, and tourmaline etc.
Here’s a list of 10 Halal Nail Polish Brands
Orly Beauty
Orly is one of my absolute favorite brands because of their vivid colors, endless variety of colors and wide application brush. My nails are wide so that makes nail polish application a breeze.
Orly nail polishes are made in the U.S., Leaping Bunny certified, made without harmful chemicals (12-free formula) and vegan.
Try this happy shade: Happy and Healthy
Please note, only the Orly Breathable line is Halal and breathable. If the bottle doesn’t read “Breathable”, the nail polish is vegan, 12-free but not halal.
